New College Library returns to Mound Place - New College Past, Present & Future

In 2023 we were pleased to welcome New College Library back to Mound Place after its temporary relocation to 40 George Square. The library had been stationed at 40 George Square from 2020-2023 in order to complete Fire Asset Protection works on the Library Hall in New College.

This work was completed in time to allow for the re-opening of the Library at New College in time for Welcome Week in 2023 and saw the return of the General and Heritage collections much to the satisfaction of students and staff.
