New College in Exile

Following the Union of the Free Church and the United Presbyterian Church in 1900 there was a court case about the ownership of the premises. The House of Lords ruled in favour of the free Church members who had rejected union with the result that the Free Church had to vacate the building on the Mound 29th September 1904
